The design for the egg was completed and manufacturing began. Most components were to be 3D printed and each component would take several hours. Over the course of the week, each component was printed.

The design for the custom PCBs was completed and ordered late the previous week and arrived midway through this one. Each component on the PCB was tested and all tests passed. The connectors that were required to connect the PCB to the Arduino proved a struggle to solder onto the PCB. However, after engaging the help and tools of a classmate the connectors were attached.

The new camera, an ArduCAM mega camera, had arrived however it proved difficult to integrate with the Arduino. The ArduCAM camera had interfacing issues with the IDE used by the SW team. The team tried switching to the Arduino IDE to interface with the ArduCAM camera however it proved too difficult and didn't yield any significant results. The team then pivoted to using the test Arduino camera. The Arduino camera did not have a color sensor and as a result, it only captured greyscale images. The CV algorithm and target adapter tags had to be changed to accommodate the greyscale camera.
