While waiting for the new propellers to arrive the team was incapable of working on the flight algorithm, as a result, the SW team began working on the CV portion of the software. The SW team began testing with a test camera that came with the Arduino while a higher-end camera was ordered and en route. The team began integrating the camera with the Arduino. The team leveraged an IDE called OpenMV to create a skeleton CV algorithm. The IDE allowed the team to use various in-built CV functions to create different CV algorithms to determine the most robust and accurate CV design. Along with alternative CV designs the team discussed the best "tags" to attach to the adapter placed on the target drone.
Meanwhile, the ME team worked on manufacturing the legs for the drone. The E3 machine shop was consulted to determine the best way to manufacture the legs. However, after an initial discussion, it was determined that the current design for the drone legs was too difficult to manufacture reliably. As a result, the legs had to be redesigned.
