The BRD assembly is resuming this week with the news that the engineering student machine shop in the Engineering 5 building at the University of Waterloo had acquired a new HEPA filter vacuum, allowing us to safely machine our carbon fiber parts.

We got the bottom plate and arms done by hand on Friday, and today we were able get the top plate done via waterjet cutting and the assembly holes done via the mill.

All in all, we're pretty proud of what we were able to put together.
